Delivering Smiles Tippecanoe is a non-profit organization in Tippecanoe County, Indiana that raises money to assist local public safety employees in times of need. 

Initially, Delivering Smiles was created to assist a dispatcher for the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office. Johnna Paker, a 20+ year veteran dispatcher was diagnosed with breast cancer. While dealing with the fight of her life, she was also dealing with the bills and needed help. And so, Delivering Smiles was born

In less than 3 months, Delivering Smiles was able to put together a calendar featuring the women or public safety in Tippecanoe County and a 300 recipe cook book. In the end, we raised a lot of money to help our sister out and when the dust settled, it hit us that our job was not done.

The reality is, this is not the first time the public safety community has needed to come together to help one of our own. Emergency situations such as this have come up in the past and the public safety community has always stepped up to help out. Unfortunately, there will be more situations such as these to come and we want to be prepared.

Because of this, we at Delivering Smiles have decided that our group must go on and continue to help those who have made their lives and careers all about helping others here in our Community. In addition, we also want to be able to help the community that supports us by donating and assisting with various local groups and charities.
